Robbie and I celebrated the 4th of July a day early on Sunday July 3rd, since we left for a fun trip early on the morning of the 4th. Some of our family was gracious enough to celebrate both days for us! We had a cook out with both of our parents, my brother, Trey, my cousin, Daniel, and Robbie's brother, Ronny. (Ricky was out of town working, Katie was playing in a travel softball tournament, so David, Lesley, and Taylor were with her and Cliff and Abby were with her family.) We had a delicious cookout at Robbie's parents, played in the pool and played on the water for the day! Our sweet baby dogs experienced their very 1st boat ride. They weren't very sure at first, but they got used to it. Pumpkin was lazy Pumpkin, Sunshine was taking it all in, and Pepper was ALL OVER THE PLACE!! I had to put him in a Crisis Prevention hold, as if he were one of my "out of control" kids at school!! He is VERY protective and wanted to jump in and save all who were not in the boat with him (i.e. Trey and Daniel on the tube, and CC flying by on the wave runner spraying us - of course!) We had an awesome day and enjoyed family time!
