Christmas 2011

We had an amazing Christmas this year!  We got everything we wanted and spent fun times with both of our families!  This is our tree ( I cheated and had someone come decorate!)  I ran out of time and our Christmas party gave me an early deadline! It turned out gorgeous though, thanks to Neil!

Our family Christmas picture (for our Christmas cards)

We begin Christmas Eve at Nanny's for an early dinner.  We leave Nanny's and head to my Uncle Terry's for some fun with the Head family.  We play dirty Santa over there, and boy do they get dirty!  Stealing is the "in" thing apparently!  People even steal from Nanny (Aunt Cindy's mom) Gets Crazy!  But a blast!

Santa came to visit Christmas Eve while we were sleeping!  This was my fun pile!
Robbie's pile!

And for our 3 babies!

Opening gifts with daddy!  They LOVE opening gifts!!

After opening Santa gifts at our house, Christmas day is crazy busy!!  We begin our morning with breakfast at Mom and Dad Kennedy's house.  We open gifts there with Robbie's immediate family.

We also had a fun surprise, the best gift of all, we found out a few days before Christmas that we are expecting baby Kennedy!!!!!  God is good!  What a perfect Christmas gift!  We can't wait to meet our little one!
We took a home test on December 22.  We first told my parents.  We wrapped the test and took it by to them for an early Christmas gift.  We then told Robbie's parents.  We wrapped the test for them as well!  Everyone was SO excited.  We decided to keep it secret, except for our immediate family (adults only) until we know everything is going to be ok.  It was very hard for the girls, when we lost our 1st one.  :(
We are 4 weeks and 2 days along in this pic!  :)

Abby and the boys opening the test (Mom K was super excited and had it wrapped for them to open)

                                                 Abby congratulating me!  Very excited!
The Kennedy family excited about the first baby Kennedy!
After our breakfast at Mom and Dad Kennedy's, we all head to Nanny's for Christmas lunch.  We had a great time and enjoyed some delicious traditional holiday food.  We leave Nanny's and head to my mom's for a late lunch.  We have seafood at mom's which we all love!

2nd Annual Kennedy Christmas Party

Robbie and I had our 2nd Annual Kennedy Christmas party.  I apparently either A) lost my camera VERY early in the night or B) had a super fun time and totally forgot to continue taking pics!  I'm going to go with A, simply because I usually become the paparazzi when I'm having a good time!!  :) I did get a pic of my brothers!  We had an awesome night!

Thanksgiving 2011

We spent Thanksgiving with both of our families this year. It is so nice that we all live in the same area.  It makes life much easier in regards to us sharing our holidays with both of our families.  We 1st ate lunch at Nanny's house (Robbie's grandmother).  Nanny always cooks delicious food! Mom K LOVES to take family pics at every family gathering so we always have plenty of pictures with the Kennedy's!  :)
Nanny and the girls (minus Aunt Becky...she cooked this year for Art's family)

The Kennedy's

After eating lunch at Nanny's house, we headed to mom's for a late lunch/early dinner.  It was super delicious too (as always)!!  We slacked on the pictures!  We will have to do better with that!  :)

North Reed Street Party!

So our street has an annual street party.  They skipped last year for some reason, so this was our 1st one together!  Each house pays a portion and the street hires a band, provides food and beverages, and lots of fun!  We had a great turn out and had a blast!!  We had 3 tables in the front yard that I decorated with fall decor.

Not sure about everyone else, but Lane and I had a blast!!!
I think Claudette and Lauren did too!  :)

Packing Heat!!!

We went on a trip to Camp Kennedy (the hunting camp) in July.  We were actually going to Butler to the Village Store (our shopping adventure EVERYTIME we visit the camp) to pick up a pistol.  We stopped by the camp on the way back for some practice shooting!

I'm not very good, but they say practice makes perfect!  I have lots of practicing to do!!

A trip to Napa Valley!

So, we went on a trip to the Napa Valley in July!  Our 2nd vacation of the summer! Trying to get some traveling done before a baby Kennedy comes along!  Both of our parents wanted to go and so we decided we should go supervise!  We flew into San Franscisco and spent a half day there checking out Alcatraz, Fisherman's Wharf, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
On the way to Alcatraz

So we lost all of the pictures off of my camera for a minute and mom left her glasses in the convertible, so we made a visit to the garage to get the glasses and a few pics!  We recovered my pics when we arrived in Mobile, thanks to Calgaz Photo and a whopping $50 fee, but it was worth it to retrieve all of the memories!

Our last stop on the way to the airport, the Red Wood Forest.  HUGE trees and beautiful scenery.  We needed a little more time here, but we had a plane to catch!  We had a amazing time and would love to go back sometime!  It was a truely amazing trip!!
